Jackson Pediatric Dentistry
Office Policies

Important Notice

Covid 19 protocol: We ask that only one parent accompany the patient, if possible.  We will pre-screen for temperature at the lobby door before you enter our waiting room.  We do ask that everyone wears a mask while inside the building. Please fill out the COVID screening form at the following link prior to arriving for your appointment: click here.

Vaccinations

Every child in our office is required to be up-to-date with vaccinations as suggested by their pediatrician, unless here she is unable to do so for medical reasons. As a private office, our doctors have chosen this policy because they wish to eliminate the risk that unimmunized child potentially poses to other patients in our office. If your child is not vaccinated due to medical reasons, we must receive a letter from his or her physician stating this information. If your child is not vaccinated due to personal reasons, we will not be able to treat him or her in our office.

If you have any questions regarding this policy, please call our office.

Individual procedures

When your child has a cleaning or exam, you’re welcome to sit in the hygienists room with them. However, whenever a child is undergoing treatment such as fillings, crowns, or extractions, you (the parent/guardian) will be required to wait in the waiting room. The doctors have found that children often behave and listen much better when his or her attention is solely on the doctor, and not on the parent in their room. Our mission is to give your child great care, and the doctors can best serve your child with limited distractions.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your child’s appointment, we require 48 hours notice. If your child misses their first appointment, we may not schedule your child for 6 months, except for emergency treatment. We reserve the right to charge for any missed appointments.

If you have any questions regarding these policies, please give us a call.

Kind and attentive to our needs

“Our entire experience with Jackson Pediatric Dentistry was amazing. Dr. Emily Kaiser has a huge heart for children. She goes above and beyond for her patients. I am very fearful of going to the dentist- but she explains things in ways that puts our minds at ease, and her staff are kind and attentive…
